Serving with a Purpose

OPENING PRAYER:

Jesus, open our eyes to see the needs around us and give us the heart to serve others with love and humility.

READ: 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

REFLECT:

The message reminded us that serving others is a powerful way to open doors for the gospel. Pastor Jarred Peine shared how serving breaks down walls, builds trust, and strengthens relationships. We are called to use our unique gifts and resources to serve those around us, just as John's friend did for him.

Peter encourages us to be faithful stewards of God's grace, using our gifts to serve others. This is a call to action, to step out of our comfort zones and to meet the needs of those around us. Jarred challenged us to think about our uniqueness and how we can use it to serve our "one."

Reflect on the gifts and resources God has given you. How can you use them to serve others? Jarred shared practical examples, from cooking a meal to inviting someone to a game. These acts of service can open doors for deeper conversations about faith.

As we serve others, let us do so with a heart of love and humility. May our actions reflect the grace of God and point others to Jesus, opening doors for the gospel to be shared.

I WILL STATEMENT:

I will take my next step to reach my ONE this week. Identify a specific way you can serve someone in your life this week. Use your unique gifts and resources to meet a need and build a relationship.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for the gifts and resources You have given us. Help us to use them to serve others with love and humility. May our actions reflect Your grace and open doors for the gospel. Amen.
