What is Heaven Like? - Part 1
OPENING PRAYER:
Lord, help us to realize that heaven is a tangible place where Jesus lives.
The Lord God made the heavens and the earth by only speaking. Jesus will come back and take us all to heaven, and there will be plenty of room.
REFLECT:
God is a superpower! He commanded the heavens and earth to form, and it happened! If we believe in Jesus, we will one day be in heaven with him. We are to fear the Lord, for if he can create the heavens and the earth, he can do anything. God made the 7th day holy, and we are to rest on that day. So, if God gets tired, we also need to rest.
APPLY:
Can you imagine not believing in God? There are people in this world that may or may not heard about God. What do you do if you do not even believe in heaven and hell? What do you do when you don’t know what to do? Who do you talk to? I can imagine that heaven will be such a beautiful place with streets of gold. No one will be sick, and everyone will be happy! In today’s world with the looming threat of Covid and its variants, won’t that be wonderful! What a wonderful feeling it is to know that there is a place we will go when we die if we only BELIEVE.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Father God, I can hardly wait until I see those streets of gold! I will be there, and I pray that I am able to help bring all my family with me. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place. I can not wait to see my family members who have gone before. The glory of the Lord will be exciting!
