Moved

We’ve all heard it before—every weekend at Pathway, in gatherings with our Home Team, even one-on-one with others. We’ve probably even thought it to ourselves on more than one occasion. “It’s never too late”—and this statement is as true today as it was when we were 17.

For Brandon Andrews and the busloads of high school students who attended MOVE in June, that statement proved to be fact! Brandon attended the CIY conference this summer with several other high school students and God ignited a fire inside that he didn’t know existed. Through the power of worship, prayer, and bonding, he and his classmates experienced how life actually can be when you open your heart to the spirit of Christ.

This life-altering experience moved Brandon from a life of substance abuse to a life of joy and overwhelming happiness. Brandon says that through MOVE he gained a relationship with Christ and found that now he can be happy without all those negative influences of his past.

From day one at MOVE Brandon could feel an immediate change. Since returning home and being baptized, he can honestly say that because of what he learned at the conference, he has improved not only his relationship with Jesus, but relationships with family and friends as well. His newfound joy has led him to be generous with his time and his resources at Pathway. What’s most inspiring about Brandon, is that he is able to open his heart and let the Holy Spirit flood him with joy like never before.

Brandon shared that MOVE isn’t just about a conference or a weeklong vacation. It’s a life-altering experience to those who let Jesus in. Whether you are 17 or 77, it’s never too early to open our hearts and let Him do His work in our lives.
