This summer we’re spending 8 weeks in a study through 1 Corinthians entitled “Broken.” Corinth was a large, diverse, and busy metropolitan city like many cities today. People valued education and knowledge in Corinth and, as he established, encouraged, and taught a new, young church, Paul knew that Jesus Christ is the ultimate answer in the midst of trouble, strife, sin, and disfunction. This book of the Bible is full of good wisdom, advice, and direction for us even today.
