RHONDA CLEVELAND has been at Kidslink for thirty years! She was a lead teacher for three years and then completed seventeen years in an administrative role as the Director’s assistant. Rhonda has an Associate degree in Christian Education from Nebraska Christian College and an Associate in Applied Science – Early Childhood Education from Butler Community College. She is actively involved in the Wichita area Early Childhood Directors Organization (ECDO). Mrs. Cleveland has a special interest in children’s music and enjoys singing and directing the Kidslink Programs. Rhonda and husband Kenton have two grown daughters: Andrea and Ashley, one eight year-old granddaughter, Alia and one 5 year old grandson, Ethan. Rhonda loves growing flowers, reading, biking, going for walks, camping & hiking, and experimenting with new recipes!

JODI GLUNT is beginning her fifth year at Kidslink. She graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a stay at home mom for 10 years and a substitute teacher in the Goddard school district for two years. She and her husband, Ryan, have two daughters; Olivia (16 years old) and Abigail (10 years old) who both attended Kidslink. Olivia is a sophomore and is attending her first year at Freedom Preparatory Academy, a private Christian school.  Abigail is a 5th grader at Discovery Intermediate in Goddard.  Jodi was involved in the March of Dimes for years until they closed the Wichita chapter. Her family was the 2014 Wichita Ambassador Family and it remains a cause near and dear to her heart. In her free time, she enjoys writing, painting and cheering on Wichita State basketball. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family (which also includes two chihuahuas and 2 cats.)  

Donna Baird

DONNA BAIRD graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has taught in the Andover Public School System and worked as a substitute teacher in the Wichita schools.  She has coordinated the children’s Pioneer Club and the church Resource Center.  Donna has also helped with VBS and taught Summer Play Day.  She taught in a Campus Kids after school Bible Club at Pleasant Valley Elementary.  She is currently involved in the Bible Club at Cessna Elementary in Wichita. Mrs. Baird is starting her twenty-ninth year at Kidslink as a lead teacher.  Donna and her husband Rick have two grown children: Timothy (wife Angie) and Ashley (husband Andy) one grandson, Gavin; and two granddaughters, Madi and Molly.  Mrs. Baird loves spending time with her family, reading, doing word puzzles and going to the zoo!

SAMANTHA BARNETT is starting her third year as a lead teacher after two years of serving as an assistant teacher. She graduated with an Associates of Arts degree. Samantha has been a stay at home mom to her 3 children Hailey-16, Abbey-9, and Hunter-7. Abbey and Hunter attended 2 years at Kidslink. Abbey will begin 4th grade and Hunter will be a second grader this fall. Her husband Jonathon is a lead operating engineer with JLL and their family lives in Goddard. She is in her 6th year volunteering at the Pathway Goddard Campus in the Farm leading kindergarteners every Sunday. She is also the room coordinator. Mrs. Barnett volunteers with leading at VBS and Day Camp. In her spare time she enjoys photography, traveling, zoo trips, and swimming with her kids.

RHONDA BOLEN begins her twenty-eighth year on the Kidslink staff. She previously was an assistant teacher at Kidslink and has served in our Kids Day Inn program for three years as a lead teacher. Mrs. Bolen enjoys drawing and art and has had a craft idea published in “The Mailbox”, a teacher resource magazine. Reading, gardening, and traveling with her family are also favored pastimes. Rhonda and her husband Steve have two grown children, Josh and Brooke, both of whom attended Kidslink as preschoolers. Mrs. Bolen also has a granddaughter, Anika Rose and a grandson, Simon. Anika attended Kidslink and will begin 1st grade and Simon will be attending Kidslink again this year.

LAURA EWY is beginning her second year at Kidslink as a lead teacher. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years, but has always had a passion for working with preschoolers. She and her husband, Kyle, have served in the preschool ministry at the Westlink campus for 11 years and have volunteered at VBS. Two of their children, Noah (14) and Emily (9), now serve alongside them. Their youngest, Nolan (6), will be starting kindergarten this year after two years at Kidslink. Laura enjoys attending her kids’ sports and activities, spending time outdoors, reading, playing cards and board games, and quality time with her loved ones.

PAULA WEBB grew up on a farm in Northwest Kansas. Her love of cooking and canning developed as a young girl in 4-H. Paula has a degree in Home Economics from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, and she also holds a one-year graduate Bible certificate from Multnomah School of the Bible. She has taught at Kidslink for thirty-four years and Sunday School at Pathway Church. Mrs. Webb’s baking and canning entries win blue ribbons every year at the Kansas State Fair! Her love of cooking is integrated in the classroom. She and her husband Charlie, who recently passed away, have two married children: Mark and Lenora, two grandsons and three granddaughters, including a set of twins!

VAL BLANCHAT is beginning her first year at Kidslink and we welcome her as a new staff member. Mrs. Blanchat taught special education in several public schools for 32 years.  After early retirement, she took care of her father with dementia and became "grandma on call".  Val and her husband, Ron, have a blended family of 4 children and 7 grandchildren ranging from the ages of three-years-old to age thirty!  Besides enjoying being a grandma, Val enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, sewing, crafts, reading, flower gardening, working puzzles and playing games.

JAN HIGGINS is starting her third year as an assistant teacher with Kidslink. She is retired from a 32 year career in Early Childhood Education. She was on staff at Pathway Church as Early Childhood Director from 2004 to 2014. Mrs Higgins enjoys going to movies, traveling and painting. She has traveled twice to India with a missions team from Pathway. She and her husband, Donn, are avid WSU Shocker fans. They have three children, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren with one on the way.

MEGAN POLLEY graduated from Bethel College with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She has taught preschool, been a substitute teacher, instructional paraprofessional, lunchroom paraprofessional, special education paraprofessional and a stay at home mom. This is her first year being an assistant teacher at Kidslink after two years as an assistant teacher in the Kids Day Inn program. Mrs. Polley has been married for 22 years to her husband, Bruce. They have two children. Her son, Brue, is 18 and will be attending Butler County Community College and her daughter, Blakelyn, is 13 and will be a eighth grader at Maize Middle School. Blakelyn also attended Kids Day Inn and Kidslink. Mrs. Polley's family also includes Iris, a two year old, white, miniature schnauzer. In her spare time, Mrs. Polley likes to scrapbook, crafting, playing cards and board games, shopping, hanging out on her patio and watching her kids play tennis, bowling and dance.

LAUREL SMITH is beginning her third year as an assistant teacher at Kidslink.  She’s very involved at Pathway Church and volunteers as an assistant leader in the middle school ministry, tech production in the ballpark, and serves as an usher for the 10:30 service at the Westlink Campus. In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys photography, drawing, spending time with friends, and Starbucks coffee.

TAWNYA SOKOLL is beginning her ninth year as an assistant teacher. She was previously a substitute teacher for Kidslink. Tawnya and her husband, Steve, have two daughters, Corinn and Jenna. Both girls attended Kidslink as preschoolers! Steve and Tawnya have been married for 26 years. Corinn is an ER nurse for St. Joe Hospital. Jenna will be a senior at Maize South. Mrs. Sokoll worked in VBS and Day Camp until her children were older. She loves scrapbooking, working in the yard as well as watching her kids play volleyball and softball.

BROOKE ULBRICH is beginning her fourth year at Kidslink as an assistant teacher. She previously worked as an ESOL para at both the Maize and Wichita school districts. Mrs. Ulbrich and her husband, Ben, have two children: Anika (7) and Simon (4). Anika has attended both Kidslink and Kids Day Inn and will be going into first grade this year. Simon will be attending Kidslink again this year.  Brooke also attended Kidslink as a child. In her free time, she enjoys playing the clarinet in a few local ensembles and in music theatre, and she loves spending time with her family.

CATHIE CHAFFIN is now a substitute teacher after being a lead teacher at Kidslink for nineteen years. Mrs. Chaffin graduated from Tabor College (Wichita) with a degree in Christian Ministry. She has served as a children’s minister, Sunday School and VBS teacher, has assisted at Pathway Church’s summer programs, and has served on short-term mission trips. Cathie and husband Kevin have two grown daughters: Meagan and Brianne. She is “Nana” to grandsons Luke and Andrew. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, lawn and garden care, and on pleasant days prefers time on her porch swing with Kevin and their chiminea.

MANDY SPEXARTH is starting her first year as a substitute teacher after being an assistant teacher for one year with Kidslink. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Pathway Church from 2016-2018. Mandy and her husband, Roger, and their 5 year old son, Harrison, attend the Westlink campus at Pathway Church. Mandy’s greatest joy is her son, Harrison who brings so much energy, love and adventure to her life. In her spare time you can find her crafting; especially card making. Mandy also enjoys being a part of the local Project Linus non profit organization that provides blankets to kids going through challenging times. Mandy loves traveling and hiking with her husband and son.

PATTI CHISHAM has been a Lead teacher in the Kids Day Inn program for the last 7 years and a substitute teacher for Kidslink for two years. She has been involved in Children's ministries, MAPS, women's Bible studies and has lead many mission trips. Patti and her husband Steve have two grown daughters, Sarah and Jessica, and twelve grandchildren 🙂. In her free time Patti enjoys loving on children, reading, and spending time with friends.
