- Sermon Series Name: OneLife
- Message Title: Do You Got The Guts?
- Short Summary: This message challenges us to live out the mission of Jesus by actively engaging with those who are spiritually lost. Using the metaphor of lifeboat number 14 from the Titanic, we are called to row into the darkness, bringing the light of Christ to those in need. Jesus models this mission through His actions in Matthew 9, showing us the importance of going, seeing, feeling, and asking in our spiritual journey.
Icebreaker Question
- If you could be on any mission in the world, what would it be and why? How does this reflect your passions and values?
Review of the Previous Week’s "I Will" Statement
- Reflect on last week's commitment, "I will take my next step to reach my ONE this week". What challenges did you face, and what did you learn from the experience?

- Life Application: Write your own "I Will" statement this week to reach your ONE and share it with the group for accountability.
This Week’s "I Will" Statement
- This week, consider how you can embody the principles of going, seeing, feeling, asking, and praying. Let's be inspired to take action in our own lives. Write an "I Will" statement that captures your commitment to step into the mission field, just as Jesus did. Share your statement with the group to encourage and support each other in this journey. Remember, your willingness to go and show compassion can be the light that guides someone out of darkness and into the hope of Christ. Let’s be bold and courageous, trusting that God will work through us as we pray and act in faith.
Prayer Prompts
- Prayer Requests: Begin by asking group members to share any personal prayer requests.
- Pray for Courage: Ask God for the courage to step out of your comfort zone and engage with those who need to hear the Gospel.
- Pray for Compassion: Request God to give you a heart of compassion that moves you to action, just as Jesus was moved by compassion.
