Everyone Walks With Someone

BIG IDEA:
God has called us as Christ-followers to walk alongside people to help them connect and grow in their relationship with Him.
TEACHING POINTS:

• Be out among people who don't know Jesus.

• Obey God's Word and be accountable to your small group.

• Enter into spiritual conversations.

• Listen to the Holy Spirit to seek, serve, and share with those you are walking alongside.

SCRIPTURE: Luke 24:13-35

In this series, we are wanting you to gain experience in using a different method in your group called the “Discovery Bible Method”. As you begin your study, please start by watching the Introduction Video (link here) to this Home Team Series.

1. What's your "go to" activity when you need a break?

2. Who is a coach, teacher, pastor, friend, or mentor who made a difference in your life growing up?

3. What is something that you are thankful for this week?

4. What is something challenging or stressing this week and how can we help you?

IN THE WORD:

1. Read Luke 24:13-35 in two different versions.

2. Have one or two people in your group retell the story in their own words.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

        1. What does this story tell me about God?

        2. What does this story tell me about people?
