OPENING QUESTIONS:
  1. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being totally sad that it’s almost over and 10 being, you wished it had been over last August; how do you feel about the end of the pro-football season next week?
  2. What is one thing that you are thankful for from last week?
  3. What is something that was stressful or difficult this week and how can we help?
IN THE WORD:
  1. Read Romans 8:28-30 out loud from two different translations. Have someone summarize the main points.
  2. Paul says that Jesus is the first born among many. Who are the many and what is the relationship between Jesus and the many?
  3. What did God give those He called?
  4. What does this tell us about God? What does this tell us about people?
