"A Kingdom Vision"
OPENING PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see Your kingdom and our hearts to embrace Your will. May we be vessels of Your purpose on earth. Amen.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Matthew 6:10 (NIV)
REFLECT:
In his message this past weekend, Pastor Carter reminded us of the 10-Year Vision for the church: to see 100 churches planted, 10,000 new followers of Jesus, and 100,000 people impacted for Christ. This vision is a reflection of the prayer, "Your kingdom come, your will be done." It is a call to align our lives with God's mission and to participate in His work on earth.
Todd emphasized that this vision is impossible without God's presence, provision, and power. It requires us to grow in prayer, seeking God's guidance and strength. The story of Ron Bailey, who now serves others with passion and dedication, illustrates what happens when we align our lives with God's kingdom purposes.
As we pray for God's kingdom to come, we are invited to imagine a world where His name is hallowed by every person. This is not just a distant hope but a present reality we are called to work towards. Todd encouraged us to see ourselves as part of this mission, whether in our families, workplaces, or communities.
I WILL STATEMENT:
I will pray the Lord's Prayer for the next 21 days. We’re inviting the entire Pathway family to join us for 21 Days of Prayer, starting with a special Kickoff Night on Saturday, January 10, at our Westlink Campus (2001 N. Maize Rd.), beginning at 7:00 PM, following Saturday evening service. To find out more, check out the Weekly Guide in the Pathway app or click here.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Father, we long for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done. Use us as instruments of Your peace and love, and guide us in fulfilling Your vision for the world. Amen.
