Read This - Matthew 1:22-23
"All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet: 'Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means 'God is with us.'"
Think About This - Something we learn about God's word is that it can be trusted. What God says will happen comes true again and again. No promise like this is bigger than the promise of Jesus.
God shows us that he is someone we can count on. He is a friend and someone that listens to us when we need and he even gives great advice to us in the bible! But God is more than a friend, he is our creator who loves us. How great it is to know that God cares so much about us!
Talk about This - Who is a good friend you have that you can count on? Find a way to thank your friend this week. It could be a compliment, text, or letter, be creative!
