Next Gen Director

Summary:

• Position Title: Next Gen Director
• Classification: Full-time
• Location: Valley Center Campus
• FSLA Status: Exempt
• Reports to: Campus Pastor, Valley Center

Description:

The Valley Center Next Gen Director will be responsible for supervising, leading and developing the 3 volunteer Ministry Leaders (Kids, Middle School and High School). Will prioritize recruitment for all ministry areas, being proactive in meeting with individuals and funneling prospects to Ministry areas. Will teach in both the Middle School and High School areas on a rotating basis. Responsible for making sure that all aligned Next Gen strategy is executed well at Valley Center every week.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is demonstrated by following Jesus in community for others.
• Must attend Pathway Church or agree to make Pathway your church home following hire.
• Must have a passion for seeing the love for Jesus develop in the hearts and lives of the next generation and within their families.
• Must have experience working with kids or students in some capacity.
• Must be able to recruit, grow, empower and release leaders to lead.
• Must be able to relate to students and adults, vision cast to volunteers, develop a team and work well within all teams.
• Must have strong skills in: organization, follow-through, attention to detail and oral/written communication.
• Experience with MS Word and Outlook required. Familiarity and/or ability to quickly learn MS Teams, ProPresenter, Rock RMS and Social Media platforms.
