High School Pastor

Summary:

• Position Title: High School Pastor
• Classification: Full-time
• Location: Westlink Campus
• FSLA Status: Exempt
• Compensation: Commensurate with experience
• Reports to: Westlink Campus Pastor

Description:

Responsible for the overall vision, mission and goals of the high school ministry as part of the Next Gen Team.  Will organize and direct small groups on Sunday nights, recruit and develop volunteers, work with parents to become shepherds for their own children, plan and oversee activities including summer camps, and maintain and build relationships with community leaders in the area in which Pathway serves.  Will coordinate and organize the high school ministry in conjunction with the larger focus of Pathway Church seeking to integrate students into current initiatives.

Position Requirements:

• A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is demonstrated through balanced living, knowledge of the Bible, consistent prayer life, and a commitment to communicating the Word of God to young people in a relevant way.
• A level of spiritual maturity that is demonstrated in healthy relationships with God, adults and students, and an accountability relationship with one or more adults.
• A passion for seeing the gospel infiltrate and develop in the hearts and lives of high school students.
• Strong leadership skills in team management, interpersonal skills, discernment, organizational growth and change, team building, communication skills, and humility.
