What is The Neighborhood?

Every weekend all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. This is an exciting time and we encourage you to get your children plugged into one of our ministries so we can partner with you as you raise the next generation of leaders to follow after Jesus!

We would love to see you and your family visit The Neighborhood at a Pathway location this weekend. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

  • EARLY CHILDHOOD
  • PRIMARY ELEMENTARY
  • UPPER ELEMENTARY
    • Weekend

Our activities tickle all the senses making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities, crafts, large group Bible story, worship time, and small group Bible time are all part of the plan to help a child believe three key things by the time he’s five years old:

      • God made me.
      • God loves me.
      • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Join us at one of our weekend services at any location.

    • Next Steps

Our Parent and Child Dedication service is a public commitment before God, church, and family. It provides you, the parent, an opportunity to express your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child, to develop in them the desire to love God and love others.

For a schedule of sessions and dedication services, please contact kids@pathwaychurch.com.

    • Weekend

We want children to know what God says so that they can make the wise choice. They need to know who God is so they can recognize His character. As kids learn to apply this wisdom in their lives, we hope that they will begin to see God’s character in themselves.

Our goal is for every child who is a part of our weekend services to grow up and say:

      • “I need to make the wise choice.”
      • “I can trust God no matter what.”
      • “I should treat others the way that I want to be treated.”

Join us at one of our weekend services at any campus.

    • Midweek

AWANA is our midweek program held at ourWestlinklocation designed to help kids build a solid foundation in their faith through small groups, relevant teaching, and Scripture memory. Register for AWANA on our Events Page.

    • Next Steps

The Elementary Ministry desires to see each and every child experience the life changing message of Jesus Christ. We want to help children begin their faith journey with Christ and to help them take “next steps” along the way. One step for them to take is to decide to put faith in Christ by accepting Him as their Lord and Savior. If your child is interested in taking the next step and becoming a Christian, checkout this quick letter. We also want them to be able to express that faith through baptism.

If your child is interested in being baptized, email us at kids@pathwaychurch.com.

Children with Special Needs

We want all families to enjoy the worship experience at Pathway Church. If you have a child with Special Needs, we have a place for them! Our dedicated group of volunteers is ready to share Jesus’ love with your child. We teach a Bible lesson, sing songs and have lots of fun. Parents can sit and enjoy the main service knowing their child is safe.
