Marriage in our country and in our culture is under attack! In many ways, we’ve lowered the bar on marriage. We’ve cheapened it from what God intended it to be, even in the church. A great example that illustrates this truth is the popularity of the recent film,“50 Shades of Gray.” As of March 1, the film has grossed nearly $500 million worldwide.
So, how do we raise the value of marriage from God’s perspective, in the midst of all we see around us?
Marriage Myths is a four-week message series that begins the weekend after Easter, April 11 & 12. We’ll explore what the Bible has to say about marriage. Whether you are considering marriage, married for many years or ready to throw in the towel, this series is for you. If you’re single, divorced, or widowed, you have influence with others around you and this series can help you make a difference in the lives of those you care about.
We are FOR marriage and we believe it needs to be championed! We want to push back against all of the cultural values that have lowered the stock on marriage.
Join us for this important series right after Easter. It will be a great time to encourage those you invited for Easter to come back as we debunk “marriage myths” in our culture.
